“Pick the weight, put it down, eat this, don’t eat that.”  These are the things you read/hear about when thinking about fitness, nutrition, and other industries related to looking good.  Fact is, there is a lot of misinformation and misdirection leaving many people feeling overwhelmed, and discouraged. 

Personal trainers that don’t know what to do and have you doing endless crunches on a bosu ball, advertising tell you about some new fad diet that will make you look great just in time for that special event, and a million other issues that ultimately, lead to failure.  Wouldn’t it be nice to have someone to tell you what to do, when to do, how long to do it in regards to training and nutrition?  Wouldn’t it be nice if that someone was:

  • Experienced (10 years)
  • Holding the top certification in the industry (CSCS)
  • Has been through the same struggles you’re going through.
  • Competed in the upper echelons of many sports: Competed on a National level for rowing, Won my first power-lifting meet and lifted more then everyone in my weight class (181) and the class above me.
  • and currently oversees the strength and conditioning as well as nutrition of 160 youths whom are some of the top competitors in the country in their sport? 

That would indeed be nice, that’s also what I do and who I am.

What I do
A bit about the product I provide. I provide in-depth training, nutrition, and recovery consulting that is specifically tailored to my clients. Not everyone is the same, not everything works, and what does work, does not work for everyone. I help my clients see through the misinformation and get them on the right track by providing them with a nutrition plan that is specifically for them, built to give them the best chance for success.  As I mentioned prior, I handle people of varying backgrounds, all with different goals from national caliber athletes to the weekend warrior simply wanting to get in shape for a wedding or be healthier overall.  If you have a nutritional and/or training goal, I can help you reach it.

The Nutrition

Have an issue with eating too much, choosing the wrong types of foods, or choosing when to eat? My nutritional plan specifically tailored to you will take these factors into account and teach your body to adapt, teach your body to choose the right foods, and to stop when you don’t need any more.

The Training Regiment

As well as the nutritional plan, I provide detailed training programs based on your goals whether it be strength, athletic performance, or simply to lose fat and “look good naked”. As I said prior, the program is detailed to you and your goals, it’s not a cookie cutter program, it focuses on your weaknesses, your strengths, and gets you to your goals.

How I do it
And lastly, a bit about how I run my services. My service is an online based service. I do not come to the gym to train you or meet up with you. I do this so as to minimize the cost to clients significantly.

To give you an idea how much you save, In-person training (someone trains you at the gym) hourly rate is $75-100/hour and nutrition consultation fees are $150+/hour. If I were to train you 3 times a week and have an hour of nutrition consultation a week the total fees would be $375/week or $1500/month. Now on to how much you save: my online program is $300/12 weeks.

So while you get extremely similar services, the cost is much less. I require a 3 month minimum contract because as many of you know, this isn’t an overnight process, it’s not a quick fix, it’s a change that we’re trying to make permanent

I Will Give You the Tools, But You Need to Want to Change.

The online program definitely requires more intrinsic determination. You have to be willing to do the work even when no one is watching. Ultimately you are doing this for yourself and the person you let down the most is yourself if you do not succeed. It requires a strong will, a desire to destroy what you are and make something new. I can show you the door and lead you down the path but the work has to be done by you. I will give you all the right tools and as much motivation as I can, but in the end, it’s up to you lift that weight.

Customer Service- How it Works

The customer service portion is where I like to think I truly differentiate myself from anything you may have seen. One of the biggest issues plaguing the fitness industry and personal trainers at gyms is having their clients comply outside of the gym. You may see a trainer 3 hours a week in the gym but that leaves you 165 hours in a week not under their guidance, not having access to them, and ultimately 165 hours to possibly make bad choices relating to your health and aesthetic goals.

How I Help You In The Kitchen

How I differentiate myself is through my feedback system. For example: Let’s say you’re at the grocery and you’re questioning whether or not you should buy something, maybe a “healthy choice” pizza. You could shoot me an e-mail prior to going to the store with your grocery list enclosed and I could “review” the list, telling you what is not appropriate for your goals, and providing you alternatives. You could be at the store and assuming you have e-mail access on your phone (which these days it seems everyone does) you could shoot me an e-mail at the store and I’ll get back to you before you even leave the store (my turn-around on e-mails is very quick for simple questions). Ultimately I’m with you 24/7 (within reason) in that you can always e-mail me and since I have my e-mail linked to my phone, almost always I can get back to you within the next 30 minutes or quicker.

We take that 165 hours of possible misguidance and decisions that affect your goals negatively and we reduce it to zero hours.

How I Help You in The Gym

My customer service encompasses nutrition and training as well. Anyone can go get a program off the internet and find some sort of results. Maybe you’ll get stronger, maybe a bit leaner, maybe you’ll move backwards and get injured. The issue with training programs that are written for the masses is that they’re not specifically tailored to you. To your weaknesses, your strengths, your needs.

All the training programs I build are built AFTER you fill out an in depth questionnaire about your goals, weaknesses and strengths, and previous training experiences. Once done, I start putting together the pieces of the puzzle and build something that is dynamic week to week based on how you feel both mentally and physically and how you are responding to the program.

That’s my program in a nutshell. It’s not always easy, it’s not always fun, but if you want to change your body, and your life for the better then I’m available for hire. You may not always love me, you may even hate me at times but at least you’re going to look good while hating on me. As a side note, I’m not someone who is going to preach at you or simply give you the materials and expect you to understand it all. I try to actually TEACH all my clients so that ultimately, they don’t need me. I want to know that 3, 5, 10 years down the line all of my clients are capable of managing their nutrition and training to at least maintain the work we have done.
